Dr. Syal has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology in The Woodlands since 1992. He has delivered over 6,000 babies to date and continues to maintain an active ob practice delivering babies at Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands, Texas. He has special training and accomplishment in the use of minimally invasive surgery to treat gynecologic disorders.

Areas of interest include pelvic pain, hormone problems, bladder problems, menopause, and the advancement of robotic and office based surgery. Dr. Syal is a board certified OB/GYN physician who is also fully certified for the use of the da Vinci robot to perform minimally invasive surgery. He is also a proctor and trainer for Boston Scientific in the latest treatments for urinary incontinence and pelvic reconstruction.

Dr. Everson is board certified OB/GYN physician. After completing her training at Northwestern University in Chicago, she moved to New York City where she was in private practice for several years at both Mount Sinai Medical Center and New York Hospital – Cornell.

Dr. Everson then moved to The Woodlands and joined Dr. Syal in August, 2004 where she has pursued special professional interests in the management and treatment of normal and high-risk pregnancy, pelvic pain, endometriosis, hormone dysfunction, adolescent care, gynecologic surgery, and menstrual problems. The passion Dr. Everson has in obstetrics and gynecology  shines through in all the care she provides women.

From adolescence through the reproductive years and then through menopause, Dr. Everson chose her career because of her passion to care for women  in all aspects of their lives, and it satisfies her longing for another kind of diversity as well – work in the office, delivering routine care and preventive care, delivering babies and performing surgery.

  • She absolutely loves her time with family and being part of her children’s activities. Time with friends is also important to Dr. Everson and she enjoys reading, skiing, and swimming. Additionally, she is very enthusiastic about travel, especially to beautiful Colorado or to enjoy various beaches from here to Florida. RV trips with her family to Disney, the Grand Canyon and exploring Texas with family and friends are also on the list.
  • Dr. Everson is compelled to contribute to the community by way of pro bono work and is involved in fundraising in conjunction with a wide variety of charity events in The Woodlands. her family, the community and all of our staff are very proud of the specific work she has done to raise several hundred thousand dollars for The Community Clinic allowing them to hire a full time physician.

Dr. Westmoreland initially loved the surgical aspect and excitement of delivering babies. However, after entering private practice, she realized the joy she experiences from practicing medicine truly lies in the long-term relationships she forms with her new patients.

Dr. Holly Westmoreland graduated from Conroe High School then went to UT Austin for her undergraduate degree. She then completed both her medical school and residency at UTMB Galveston. After completing her residency and becoming a board certified OB/GYN physician, Dr. Westmoreland returned to the Conroe | Woodlands area in order to bring her family “home.”

After Lisa completed her undergraduate studies she then attended the University of Utah PA program and graduated in 2000. She is NCCPA board certified specializing in OB/GYN. She moved from Utah to Spring with her husband and two young children in 2008.

Lisa enjoys all aspects of women’s health including Well Woman Exams, problem visits, and office procedures. Lisa believes well informed patients make better decisions regarding their healthcare. Her patients appreciate her compassion and care along with her upbeat personality.

She has special interests in wellness and in bioidentical hormones which are natural hormones synthesized from yam and soy extracts that are identical in molecular structure to the hormones women make in their bodies.
