At Woodlands OBGYN Associates, we make it our point to be available for you as our patient. Drs. Syal, Everson,Westmoreland and Rielly have a variety of appointment times available in order to meet your needs. We see patients by appointment only. Appointments may be made by calling us at 281-364-9898 during the following office hours:
Monday – Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Friday: 8 AM – 12 Noon
What You Need to Know
Please note that we occasionally close from 12PM to 2PM for training, which is an important component in providing you with the best care possible. If you get our answering service during that time, and are needing an appointment, please feel free to schedule online through your patient portal login or leave a message. We will return your call as soon as possible.
If you are pregnant and believe you are in labor, your water has broken or, if you have any other obstetrical related problem or concern, please proceed directly to labor and delivery HOUSTON METHODIST The Woodlands Hospital for an evaluation. Once you are evaluated by the labor and delivery hospital staff, they will contact us, and we will then determine the next steps in your management. If you have any questions, you can contact the labor and delivery staff directly at 281-364-9898.
If you have an emergency that is not obstetrically related, you should proceed directly to the emergency room. You will be evaluated by the emergency room staff and if indicated, they will contact us regarding the appropriate next steps in your management and follow up care.
If you need to speak to a physician after hours or on the weekends, you can call the office at 281-364-9898 (or call 911) and the physician on call will be contacted through the answering service. Please be aware that this is for EMERGENCIES ONLY. Any routine questions or concerns will not be addressed for the on-call physician and should be answered during regular office hours and appointments. Please be advised that you will be charged $25.00 for this after-hours service if it is not related to a recent surgery.
While we do not anticipate problems during pregnancy, we always want our patients to be prepared and know what plan of action to take. If you have any questions about our emergency on-call procedures, please ask us. We are happy to help clarify any questions or concerns you may have.
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hour notice of cancellation in order to best meet the needs of our patients and to run the practice as smoothly as possible. We are aware that unforeseen events may require you to miss an appointment and we appreciate you letting us know 24-hours in advance of a cancellation.
We make every effort to adhere to scheduled appointment times; however, due to the nature of our specialty, circumstances beyond our control occasionally cause delays. If this happens, we will try to notify you. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding, as we do try to keep such circumstances to a minimum.
Requirements of Treatment
Prior to providing you care and treatment, we will need the following:
- Current insurance information (please bring your card)
- Current driver’s license
- Physician Referral, if required by your insurance plan
- Co-payment or payment for any non-covered services
- Your estimated portion due will be due at time of service
As a service to our patients, we will submit all insurance claims for you. We will fully attempt to help you receive full insurance benefits; however, you are personally responsible for your account, and we encourage you to contact us if your policy has not paid within 30 days of the date of service.

Because insurance policies vary from one policy to the next, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith. We cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Therefore, to alleviate financial unknowns, we encourage patients to contact their insurance provider prior to scheduling an appointment to confirm how payment for services will be processed, as well as to inquire about the patient portion and patient responsibility. Your insurance provider is your best source for this information. Please call your Customer Care toll-free number, which should be located on the back side of your insurance card.
